Wednesday voice #9

I am not the biggest Pink fan, but this song has been stuck in my head for the entire week now. It is playing in the trailer to the new chick flick New Year's Eve which runs in my tv almost every time I turn it on - so this is diffinatly the song I heard most times this week.

Raise Your Glass - Pink

Tv-Friday #2

Fringe is the best tv-show on the air right now and it has been for a long time. If you enjoy sci-fi (and even if not actually) you should watch this one.
For those of you who love a great sci-fi exprience Fringe will completely capture you and make you believe whole heartly in their world every friday when you tune in on FoX. It is a world of shapeshifters, paralle universes and shifting timelines with the Fringe division fighting every week to keep the world/worlds save and the people in/them.

This team is lead by FBI agent Broyles whose lead field agent is Oliva Dunham, she is joined by FBI agents Chalie Francis and Astrid Farnsworth (and later in the show agent Lincoln Lee). The two most important people on her time are not FBI at all though. The genius Walter Bishop is reliazed from the psycriatric hospital were he have lived for the past 15 years by his son Peter, who himself got an IQ of 190 (slightly lower than his dads) and the two of them joins Olivia in her quest for the truth and her efforts to save our world.

My favorite par of the show is Walter and Peter and their amazing relationship:

Wednesdays Voice #4

The guy from Hoobastank :) Granted I don't really know much about this band or their music but when this song was realeased I guess I must have been in High School and that year it was one of my all time favourites and I still enjoy it, whenever I hear it on the radio.

Know the feeling of having forgotten something?

If you`re doing a drama that has some comedic elements you can`t forget that it`s primarily a very serious film that has some light relief

Monday's movie #13

THE TOURIST

Very elegant and funny movie :) It reminds me a little of old fashion spy movies and there's even a little Hitchcock too it :) Johnny is funny, great and charming as always and Angelina is amazing as always...

Fabulous Women #1

RACHEL WEISZ

I've always been fascinated by activists, people who will devote their life to a cause, people who go to India and to Africa and put their life in jeopardy to do what they believe is right

Tv Friday #1

A long time favorite show of mine :) I started watching this when it was on it's first season while I was i high school and now the show is on it's seventh season and it is still as good (if not better) as ever :)

and this song just fit the show brilliantly :) I can't really describe it, but by saying it is classic horror in a very new wrapping :) I love the show and if you are bored on night and in the mood for a good scare and laugh then you should look up Supernatural! :)

Wednesday voice #3

Rasmus Seebach is a danish favorite and the first video is one I filmed at a concert I attended last year with a great friend of mine - Theresa :)

and his newest music video :)

I pushed you down deep on my soul for to long"

6. Castle
7. Psych (new fav) :)

Prolly wont be able to watch all every week but I promise you I'll only be a little behind on 2 or 3 at the most when the tv year ends next spring :)

Music is everywhere...

Listen. Can you hear it? The music. I can hear it everywhere. In the wind… in the air… in the light. It’s all around us. All you have to do is open yourself up. All you have to do … is listen.

New song..

Great song :)

Monday's movie #6

I've love this musical from the first time I saw it on stage years ago and it just keeps getting better and better. The movie is actually almost as good as the play :)

These two songs are my favorite ones :)

"How do you measure, measure a year?

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights
In cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.

In five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure
A year in the life?

How about love?"

Danish genius...

Played amazingly by one of Denmark's greatest today - Nikolaj Lie Kaas

A movie every Dane should watch - a well played portrait of a genius but very haunted man.

Eating right?

Monday's movie #4

My movie recommendation this week is for a heart warming and very realiztic movie called Mozart and the Whale. It is about a young man Donald, who lives a good functional live with asperger's syndrome. He runs an autiscm support group where he meets Isabelle. She is in many ways his opposite eventhough the both struggle with aspergers. They're common illness aswell as their diffirences are what draw them to each other in the first place but it is also what starts driving them apart.

Monday's movie #3

Music and Lyrics with Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant (and the veery tall guy from Everybody loves Raymond ;))

I borrowed this cute romantic comedy from a friend last week and you really should watch it. If you should happen not to like the movie (which I don't think is likely) this music video makes the movie :)

Washing cloth

Just found this beautiful painting to fit what I am doing right now :) To be fair I am using a washing machine but there is just about enough water outside from all the rain that I actually didn't have to ;)

Flood!!

Well it is not all THAT bad but I still thought the drawing but still is is pretty cute right?? The only thing that is flooded here is my drainpipe which has resulted in my mailbox beneath it has experienced a minor river inside it and my shirt and bag in an unvolentary waterfall!!! BRRR - goodmorning to you to Mr. Weatherman!!

Going to a concert...

with Bruce Guthro on Dec. 1st in GrenÃ¥.

He is a canadien (Nova Scotia) singer/songwriter and I've love his music for years. I am going with my mom and my older sister. It is gonna be a great day!!!

"He fought for every man, answered the call,
he would never see his unit fall
But while old men talk young men die,
Freedom calls, the price is high,
he's seen enough in his life
to last a thousand years"

Rainfall

A picture...

and a poem....
- The thunder is rolling in
my heart is on the outside
and I am drenched to the skin
The rain starts pouring down
before lightning stikes
I decide to hang up my crown.

Looking a little...

Monday's movie #1

Got this idea from a friend of mine. She is posting a Friday's Girl and a Monday's man on her blog. Instead og doing that I thought I would recommend a movie every Monday, beginning with the one I watched last night.

Due Date

This movie is truely hillarious and Robert Downey Jr. is one of my favorite actors. If you are having a bad day watch this and it will cheer you right up!

I love Chocolat

I just finished watching Chocolat with Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp. It has been a favorite of mine since the first time I saw it and it is one of those movies that just keeps getting better and better everytime you see it. Beautiful, moving story, great actors and the amazing style of Lasse Hallstöm (who is also a favorite of mine).

Wednesday, August 3, 2011

"Oh how I've missed you Holmes..."

and Watson too :) I have been looking forward to this movie since the end titles of the first one when I saw it in the cinema.

The trailer to the second Sherlock Holms adventure does not look like the movie is gonna disappoint me at all. Actually it just makes me look forward to it even more ... I'll be sure to share my thoughts on the movie on this blog when I go see it this December with my sister.

Sherlock Holmes - A game of shadows stars Robert Downey Jr. and Judd Law as Holmes and Watson just like the last movie and I gotta say as wierd as the cast sounded to me before I saw the movie and as perfect it turned out to be within the first 10 minutes of watching as glad am I they are both back in what in my opinion are their best roles ever (and that says alot casue that is two great actors!!!)

Amazing new song..

The song I am talking about is Sadness of a Woman by Russell Crowe and Alan Doyle feat. Danielle Spencer. It is all new and is laying on youtube as a tast of their new album Crowe/Doyle Songbook (availible on itunes now and on amazone on august 9th). I will be giving a full review when I purchase the cd myself. Untill then listen to this one and enjoy :)
